Did you know that it takes seventeen seconds to make a first impression? It takes twenty-seven interactions to overcome that first impression if it's bad. Why is this important to know? Because an interview can be one of the most pivotal moments in  a person's life and the first impression made can make or break that interview. 

HI! I would like to introduce myself to you. I am Kelly Archibald and am the president of Speak Volumes, Inc. We have helped hundreds of people meet their communication goals for the last 10 years. Our clients include pageant winners, actors, singers, students interviewing for scholarships and professionals interviewing for jobs and preparing for speeches. We have compiled the information that has helped those clients have success and created this course. This course, Ace Your Interview, will give you knowledge, information and tips on how to walk into the interview situation confidently. You will learn how to use nonverbal language to your advantage and be given information on how to create rapport with your interviewer, even if you have never walked into an office. This will help you make the best first impression. 

The course includes nine different sections. The subjects covered are First Impression, How to Dress for an Interview, How to Properly Shake Hands, How to Handle Nervousness, How to Prepare for an Interview, Politeness, Communication Style, and Types of Interviews .Whew! That is quite a bit covered!  It sounds a little daunting, but it really is short, sweet and to the point. There are a lot of stories about what clients have experienced that just may help you or your loved one in a similar situation. There are downloads with the highlighted information that is important to know already spelled out for you. There are checklists that will help you be ready when the interview day has arrived. This course is designed for anyone who is going into an interview situation, is fearful and nervous and wants to make great first impression. There are no requirements needed to take this course.
