Let's share in a moment of honesty, having adult acne is embarrassing, annoying and frustrating and if you suffer from the same skin condition you know this too well. When I was a teenager, a majority of the people at school were also struggling with this same skin concern, but as I got older fewer and fewer of my friends were still dealing with it and it left me feeling rather alone. Now that I am in my mid-twenties I am wanting to find products that not only help with my acne but help me to keep my skin healthy. Finding the right products for my skin has been such a difficult journey, and frankly, one that I am still on. But I am finally at a place where I feel like my skin is being managed. As my skin has matured so have my preferred products, I now am okay spending a little more on a product if I feel like it does a great job at improving my skin, but I also am even happier when I find a less expensive product that works just as well as the more expensive brand. One of the most frustrating things about having adult acne is that it causes others to view me as someone who is not yet an adult. Now, I admit to being one of those adults who play Pokemon Go, and I also admit to occasionally eating ice cream for dinner, both of which may not be the most mature of decisions, but I don't want my skin to be the reason that I don't get seen as an adult. While acne is the main concern I have when it comes to my skin, another key factor for a skin care product is one that helps with oily skin. I am someone who will use a matte primer, a matte foundation, and a matte setting powder and still end up with shiny skin come noon. This is another skin issue that really frustrates me, again, not something I have totally solved, but something that I have figured out how to better maintain. If you are someone who struggles with similar skin concerns then know that you are not alone and while it is frustrating and embarrassing there is hope. My skin is better now than it was when I was a teenager and it's better today than it was last week. It's an ongoing process about keeping your skin healthy and happy. I truly thank you so much for taking the time to watch my video and I hope you found it helpful.
