Beyoncé may wake up flawless, but for the rest of us, we need to put in time, energy and money to keep our skin looking nice. My skin has always been trouble for me, if you have checked out my videos before then you would know I have very oily, acne-prone skin so I am always on the hunt for cool new products to use. If you haven't checked out any of my videos, my
Skincare Routine would be a great place to start.
The other day I was at
Sephora, basically my home away from home, where I was looking for a birthday gift for my mom where I stumbled upon an interesting looking product. At first glance, I thought it was just a makeup brush, but then I realized it is for skincare! Another thing about me, when a product piques my interest, I have a habit of buying it. However, upon buying these products, I then will review them in videos just like this one. So the product I ended up going home with is
Boscia's Deep Pore Buffing Brush.
This video is a bit different than some of my others because it is not a first impression video, but a normal
review. I wanted to give this product a good trial before getting on camera so I used it for a couple weeks before filming.
I state in the video that I didn't change my skincare routine for this product, I just added it in. So after washing my face I would go back in with this over my trouble areas, which for me really is just breakouts. My
skincare routine is good. It works. So I can't say if this is the best thing since sliced bread, but it does seem to work! I noticed my breakout cleared up very quickly, so that's awesome. However, this little brush is so darn time consuming! You need to buff the troubled area for about 15-20 seconds. Now, if you are like Beyoncé this wouldn't bother you, but I have a few trouble areas, so after my whole face washing routine I do not want to be stuck at my sink for another couple of minutes counting.
If I use it, it's great, it's just getting myself to use it. I don't use this every day, just when I have a breakout (or a few, because it's never just one) and in those moments, I am ultimately happy I purchased this product. Oh, I also feel the need to add the price isn't too bad either! I got it for $16.00 and it came with the brush as well as a little sample size of their facewash (which I haven't used).
That about covers it all, thank you so much for watching my video! I hope you found it helpful and I look forward to seeing you all in my next video!
