As someone with very oily and very sensitive skin, finding effective skincare that doesn't break me out or cause rashes is quite the challenge. I have been on the hunt for products that work since I was a teenager and I have finally found some products I am truly happy with. That isn't to say I have achieved a flawless complexion, I still have a ways to go for that to happen. Right now my focus is mostly on managing my acne and keeping my skin healthy as I grow older. 

     Acne has always been the number one skin concern of mine, and it still is, I am so happy that there have been some products I started using as a teenage that I still use today. Clean & Clear was the first skincare brand I ever remember using, now while most of their products I no longer use I am still hooked on their Advantage 3-in-1 Exfoliating Cleanser, I don't know what it is about this product but my oily skin responds well to it. I will add that it does leave your skin feeling stripped so be sure to use some moisturizer after it However, the first skincare brand from Sephora I every started using was from Clinque, I still remember opening the Christmas gift from my mom of the skincare set and I was so excited. Over the years I have tested out more of their products but I still have my favorites that I still use and those are the Dramatically Different Moisturizing Gel, the Acne Solutions Clarifying Lotion, and the Exfoliating Scrub. 

     While these products have been favorites for a while, I do have some products that are newer in my collection that I hold tightly to. Josie Maran has a magic product with her argan oil, I don't know what it is about that specific brand, but my skin just drinks it up, which says a lot since I do have very oily skin. Kiehl's is a brand that is the newest to my skincare routine and the Calendula Deep Cleansing Foaming Face Wash is just perfect for those of you, like me, with very sensitive skin. It doesn't help with my acne or oil control at all, but it does work well in the morning washing off the oils from the night. The other Kiehl's product that I am a big fan of is their Super Fluid UV Defense SPF 50+ Sunscreen. Being a redhead I do burn very easily so a good sunscreen is a must for me. I love the Kiehl's brand because it does not make my skin look very oily and it also does not break me out, which has been a difficult journey to find a sunscreen like that. 

     Having both oily and sensitive skin is really all about balance and I hope that if you have oily, sensitive, acne prone or all of the above that these recommendations will help you out like they helped me.
