October Favorites

October is almost over! The weeks are just flying by. I decided to film a monthly favorites video this week, I gathered all my most used products and decided to share them with you all.

Makeup:

My most used makeup this month is mainly lippies. I have been obsessed with pairing the Sephora Collection - Rouge Gel Lip Liner in the shade 03 - Rose Wine with the Mac Cosmetics - Lipstick in the color Creme De La Femme. The day I am typing this all out isn't the same day I filmed and again this combo is what is on my lips, I love it. Another go-to is a lipstick from Benefit Cosmetics - They’re Real! Big Sexy Lip Kit, the color Lusty Rose. I love keeping this color in my purse because it's so easy to pair with just about any makeup look.  Next, I have a blush I have been loving. It's a matte pink that isn't too heavy or too light, it just gives that light healthy pink glow to the cheeks and it is Butter London -BlushClutch Wardrobe Single in the shade Hibiscus. And last for the makeup monthly favorites is a face primer. I was at Sephora buying whatever I was buying that day and I saw this sample for 100 points and thought why not. So I picked up the Hourglass - Veil Mineral Primer and I am addicted. This product is not cheap, but oh my word, this is an amazing primer. My makeup sits so beautifully on the skin when I use this and, even though it's not a particularly mattifying primer, it does help keep some of the oils at bay. I'm obsessed, I'm addicted.

October is a rather strange month here in Northern California, the weather is just all over the place, one day it'll be sunny and 80 degrees outside, the next day it'll be rainy and 68 degrees outside. Sadly, because of all the changes in the weather, my skin has been getting dry patches. This is where the Josie Maran - 100 percent Pure Argan Oil Light has really helped. This product is just one of my very favorite things. It really does make a huge difference in my skin. Another product that has been a wonderful blessing for my skin has been the L’Occitane - Hand Creams -Original. This is the best lotion, yes the original formula smells like baby powder, but it is still totally amazing.

I picked up a new brush at Ulta, it's the Wet Brush - Shine Brush. Friends, it really does make my hair extra shiny. It's amazing and not super pricey. I also talk about my favorite spot treatment for my acne, Clean & Clear - Persa-Gel, I have tried so very, very many spot treatments and this one is just the best.  And the last product I mention is philosophy - Amazing Grace perfume. It smells so beautiful, doesn't irritate my skin and it can be worn year round, what more  could you want in a perfume?
