The idea of wearing false lashes has always appealed to me, they look so fun and so beautiful, however actually learning how to put them on seemed like such a daunting task. Finally one day I bought some lashes and some lash glue and spent about thirty minutes trying to apply them. After lots of frustration, I finally got it! I was so, so excited that I would find any excuse to wear them, a wedding I was attending, a party with friends, date night with my husband? All of those became the perfect excuse for fake lashes.
I start off by saying that before applying fake eyelashes, you want to curl and apply mascara per usual, then you grab your lashes and hold them up to your natural eyelashes and make sure they fit along the lashline or cut it if you need to. Then take your lash glue and lashes and carefully apply a line of glue along the base of the lashes. Wait about thirty seconds or so, I wave the eyelash and blow on it too, then carefully, starting at the outside side of your lashes, apply the lash to your eye, as close to the lashline as you can.
In this video I used two different Ardell Lashes, one is the Wispies, the other is the Demi Wispies. These are my two favorite lashes. They are affordable, easy to use and you can reuse them a couple of times too! The lash glue I use in my video is Duo Lash Adhesive, again, it's an affordable product that you can get just about anywhere. They have a white/clear product and a black one, I prefer using the clear one because if I get any glue on my eye, then you can't see it! Although if you prefer the darker color (which will blend in nicely with the eyeliner) you can just use a cue tip and some makeup remover to fix the spot you mess up on.
So that is how I apply false lashes, I don't use any tweezers or anything like that, I find it easier to get the eyelash where I want it with my fingers. I hope you found this video helpful! I thank you so much for taking the time to watch and read what I had to say about fake eyelashes.
