I have been hearing a lot about hair brush straightener lately, and being someone who straightens my hair virtually daily I decided to try out one of these products myself. And by that I mean my lovely mother had recently purchased one for herself and offered it up for me to use in a video of mine, so obviously, I thought that was an amazing idea! (Thank you, mom!)
Now, I love my hair straightener, I have had it for years and it is like a magic wand for my hair. I naturally have wavy, frizzy hair so taming it takes some time.
The brush did heat up quickly, which was great! And I must say I was pleasantly surprised by how well the product works! It really did straighten my hair! Though I will say it is difficult to be able to get all the little kinks out because it is a brush. I feel as though with my actual straightener I am able to do a more thorough job.
Another downside to the brush is the frizz. If you are like me and frizz is the main concern you have for your hair then a typical straightener is probably your best bet. But the ease and speed of the straightening brush are certainly tempting.
The brush offered up suggestions on the type of hair you have and the different temperature setting you should have the brush set to, so that was very helpful. If your hair is naturally pretty straight and you just like to perfect it a little before going out then this could be a great product for you, if you have very curly and thick hair this may be a bit more challenging to use.
All in all, I would say that the brush was a great alternative to using the traditional hair straightener. It was fast and very easy to use. It may not be the best choice for those of us who struggle with frizzy hair but it is still a tempting option when it comes to haircare. Because let's be real, sometimes you don't care about perfection when getting ready in the morning, sometimes it is just all about not being late for work instead.
Thank you so much for watching the video and reading up on my thoughts! Be sure to check out more of my videos here on Incline or on my Youtube channel!
