In today's get ready with me video, I take you through how I do my makeup in the morning for days where I am just running errands or working. This look is super simple and great for those who like a natural look.
Makeup
I have oily, sensitive skin, so my makeup has to be gentle enough to not break me out, but effective enough to keep me from looking like a shiny disco ball by noon. Personally, I like my makeup looking natural, so I decided to make a quick video showing how I do my makeup for a natural, easy look.
Face Makeup
Benefit Cosmetics Porefessional is my favorite primer, I always start with this, then I use my Real Techniques Sponge to apply my Maybelline Fit Me Matte and Poreless foundation all over my face and down my neck. I go down past my jawline to keep there from being an awkward line of foundation there. To hide my dark circles under my eyes, I use Maybelline Dark Circle Eraser. On to a super light contour/bronzer; I use the Anastasia of Beverly Hills Contour palette and I mix two different shades. Be careful to pick the correct color for your skin's undertone. For blush, I used an oldie of mine, Hint by Bare Essentials. I don't even think they make this anymore but it is just the most beautiful shade. For my concealer for my acne, I used Benefit's Erase Paste.
Eye Makeup
For this video, I decided to use the Naked Basics palette. I just adore this palette, but some of the colors are too similar. To line my eyes I used Kat Von D's Tatoo Liquid Liner. I know liquid liner is super scary, but I just love how close to my lashline I can get it. I then set the liner with a black eyeshadow from the Naked Basics palette. For Mascara, I used the Too Faced Better Than Sex Mascara (of course).
As the final steps, I set my makeup with a translucent oil absorbing powder then used Mac Makeup lipstick in the color Brave.
I thank you so much for watching my video and reading all about it. I hope to see you all in my next video!
