For over a decade, Uncle Charlie has been one of America's premier kids worship leaders.

Here are some of the highlights of his favorite things:

Stuff he likes: gummy bears (not just any gummy bears...Haribo Gummy Bears!), playing the guitar, the Oklahoma Sooners, and puppies.

Favorite sports teams include the Dallas Mavericks and the OKC Thunder.

Favorite Foods include home made chocolate chip cookies (with pecans).

Favorite movies include Iron Man, and The Princess Bride. However, his favorite TV shows are weather channels and sports shows.

Favorite Cartoon Characters include Marvin the Martian. Anybody else a fan of the martian?

Some of his favorite Christian Singers include the late Rich Mullins, and Francesca Battistelli.

Stellar Kart, Rend Collective, NeedtoBreathe, Group 1 Crew, FFH, Avalon, Relient K are among his favorite Christian groups.

Favorite songs include "Our God" by Chris Tomlin & Matt Redman.

"Delight yourself in the LORD, and He will give you the desires of your heart." Psalm 37:4 is one of his favorite verses.

Two favorite books are Jesus Calling, and The Purpose Driven Life, (by Rick Warren).

Some of the people he admires are Tony Dungy, the late Tom Landry (former coach of the Dallas Cowboys), Colt McCoy, and Tim Tebow. I see a sports influence here.
