At God’s Kid’s Worship®, we obsess over lyrics.  We constantly ask how the words will impact an elementary age kid. We ask this both for the lyrics from our own songs and the lyrics for the other songs we sell  on our website.

The writers we support are those who understand children and want to point them to God in a way that kids can understand. Also, it is important to maintain sound theology throughout the songs. We have been known to edit, carve, hone and continually improve those lyrics even during the recording process with the adult guide vocals and the actual child singers. Even the kids who sing with us sometimes help us to use the exact wording that makes sense to kids. Yes, the lyrics matter.

For all the songs for VBS, childrens' church, praise and worship time, and even when using worship motions videos, the Lyrics matter.

We have those "get the wiggles out songs." Kids need to be kids, and they need to move. Those songs may be a bit crazy and they may not have deep theological meaning, but they can assist the ministry leaders to channel the energy in their kids so that later the leaders can connect to the kids minds and souls. We make the safe songs for using in ministry to get the kids in action. There are songs that can be used that may not be as safe.

Remember, the kids will retain the lyrics for a good song, for their lifetime. Songs from our childhood can be remembered even as we grow old. The concepts and ideas in our songs are what we want our children to base their lives on and recall when necessary as life happens.

Worship as described in Psalm 150 can be loud, as well as not so loud. Use these wiggle songs to engage your kids into singing and then into worship.
