Shalom, my name is Michael Decker and I'm a lawyer within the law offices of Cohen Decker Pex and Brosh today. I wanted to discuss regarding the Special Immigration Tribunal the Special Immigration Tribunal is a tribunal which basically deals with all visa matters in Israel in accordance with the law of entry into Israel. And in addition, it also deals with Section 7 to the law of citizenship and Section 7 to the laws of citizenship deals with arranging status for foreign spouse of an Israeli. And the reason that the Special Immigration Tribunal deals also with Section 7 to the law of citizenship is that before a foreign spouse that's married to an Israeli citizen obtained Israeli citizenship he undergoes a gradual process and obtains visas through a low of entry into Israel. And based on precedents by courts which were given in the past before the Special Immigration Tribunal was established. And then on the law which deals with the Special Immigration Tribunal all the matters regarding Section 7 to the law of citizenship are referred now to a special immigration tribunal. So when do you submit basically a petition to a special immigration tribunal? When people apply for status at Interior Ministry and are denied they need to submit an internal appeal before the Interior Ministry and if their internal appeal is either ignored or denied they then can submit a petition before the Special Immigration Tribunal after a petition submitted before the Special Immigration Tribunal the judge will request that legal department of the Interior Ministry submits its response and also will schedule a hearing in the hearing and after both parties submit their written arguments. Both parties will argue their claims in court verbally and if the parties aren't able to reach an agreement outside of court then the judge of the Special Immigration Tribunal will render a verdict depending on the results of the verdict. Each party the petitioner or the respondent which is the interior ministry can submit an appeal before the District Court in its position as an administrative court of appeals if and depending on the results and the verdict of the District Court each party can also submit an appeal before the Supreme Court in its position as an administrative Supreme Court of Appeals. Our office deals much with a special immigration tribunal and also with the District Court in its position as the District Court of Appeals and also before the Supreme Court in its position as the Supreme Court for administrative appeals and we'll be happy to assist anyone with such a need. And you can feel free to contact us with any questions in this regard. Thank you for your time.
