Hello. My name is Michael Decker and I'm a lawyer within the law offices of Choen Decker Pex and Brosh. Today I wanted to discuss with you again regarding the general subject of immigration to Israel which is a subject that our office deals with a lot. I wanted to touch a specific aspect under this general subject regarding a very particular visa called a B 3 visa a B three visa is not a visa that you hear much about. It's a very unique and specific visa and it's relevant for those whose status in Israel is not certain and whose status is under suspicion. Even this visa is given for up to one month for the person that visits to a range of status in Israel and will not be given again. Our office actually assisted several people that needed urgent assistance to obtain a B3 visa and the specific example that I will give relates to clients in China where the husband was Israeli. He married a Chinese woman and they brought children to the world because the father is Israeli and the mother is Chinese. The children do not receive automatic Israeli citizenship even though their children of an Israeli because the Interior Ministry demands that a paternity DNA tests be conducted to verify that the father is indeed the father. So when this family went to the Israeli Embassy to obtain visas for the wife and children the Israeli embassy was not willing to grant visitors visas to the kids because the Israeli embassy said that these kids are citizens and potential citizens and if they're potential citizens they must travel to Israel with an Israeli travel document. The father does not want his children to be Israeli citizens or ever because in China it is not possible to hold dual citizenship and the children will lose their Chinese citizenship if they obtain Israeli citizenship. So the father told that to the Israeli Embassy and the Israeli embassy told them that until their status isn't verified as Israelis they can't even renounce their Israeli citizenship. So he must first obtain israeli citizenship do a DNA test and only afterwards he can renounce their Israeli citizenship and then they will be given a visitor's visa to Israel like Any other Chinese tourists can obtain. So this family basically was stuck in a bureaucratic nightmare because they had visiting plans to Israel to visit the family of the father in Israel and they contacted us and we assisted them in obtaining a B3 visa which is exactly the relevant visa for the children which is a visa for those whose status is not certain So he was able to visit with his family for one month and the children received B three visas. And in the meantime we helped them do the DNA tests obtained citizenship and then renounced the citizenship of these children. So now he has no problems whatsoever in this specific aspect. If you like to learn more about immigration issues or if you would like to obtain a B3 visa in Israel will be happy to help you. Thank you for your time. And we're happy to be of service to you.
