I think that business is built on relationships. You have to follow up with what you say you’re going to do. Don’t make promises that you can’t keep. Incline offers so much that it’s not necessary to oversell. Follow-up and respect the person that you are talking with. Respect them for what they know and put them in a comfortable position. As I said, it’s built on relationships. You have to follow-up and not be pushy. Be sure that your presentation is clear, short, be candid, and then go ahead and ask them – close it! “Here, this is what we can offer for you. At least try it for a year. We have no contract. I think you’ll be really happy!”
