Headers & Tags

Here are a few tips to help you with creating headers (a.k.a. headings) and tags.

1. Since you’ve already found a great title via keyword research, use it as the first heading, before the first paragraph, and format it as Heading 1.


2. Take the same title and insert it somewhere down in your article as the heading of another paragraph, and format it as Heading 2. These steps are designed to help search engines know that your title an important phrase for this post.


3. Utilize some other good keywords you’ve found as H2 headings for other paragraphs down through your article.


4. Use those same keywords, plus a few more (8-10 total) in the “Keyword” blank at the bottom - separated by commas


5. Then use them again in the hashtag blank - just get rid of the spaces, and separate with commas again.


6. If any of your keywords appear in your article, you might make them bold, to help stress their importance.

That’s it! These practices are all in order to help your post rank. Showing up in search engines is a very involved process, but you’re learning how it’s done simply by following these steps.
