This pedal is the little brother to the POG2 and the original POG. It comes in a smaller enclosure while keeping all the main features we love about the POG. The POGis named for exactly what it does which is, a polyphonic octave Generator. With this pedal you now have the option to add an octave up or octave down to any note on your guitar. This pedal is also smart enough to pick out the notes in each chord and cleanly add the extra notes into your signal. This can create either a 12 string or organ effect depending on how you use it.
Leads
The Micro POG can be a great effect for adding a little punch you your leads. Just mix in a little bit of each octave and you will cut right through the mix like a knife. You now also have access to notes that normally don't exist on the guitar! These new textures can really liven up your playing in new and creative ways.
Design
This pedal is a great size for any board. For those that aren't ready to commit to the big box POG, but still want an octave effect this is a good compromise. While it doesn't contain all the bells and whistles, it does give you all the options a good octave pedal should have. This is an effect that isn't going to be used every set, but is something you'll find you are glad you have on your board. No matter what genre you prefer this pedal can help you create tones that will take your sound to the next level.
