In this video, Ursula with Easy-Do-Yoga will show you how to (DIY) relieve muscle tension and stiffness in your neck and shoulders, to get rid of discomfort and pain. Tension Knots can form in your neck and shoulders, as a result of tension or inflammation. Your neck may feel tight and difficult to move. In most cases, knots and tension are not a cause for major concern, though they can cause you a considerable amount of discomfort. Stretching your neck in a gentle way, can help ease tight and stiff muscles and remove painful muscle knots. Maybe you have a job which requires hours of sitting behind a desk, spending long hours driving a car, or you just doing life with less than perfect posture, at some point you are most likely to start having discomfort in your neck and shoulders. Fortunately, there are ways to reverse or minimize discomfort and even prevent it from occurring in the first place. The best way is to get into the habit of stretching on a regular basis with Yoga. Anytime during your day, especially when you feel tension coming up. Spending just a few minutes daily to lengthen and relaxing the muscles in your shoulders, back and neck will play a major role in keeping your body healthy and pain free.
