Dr. Moore holds a BS in Chemistry, Magna Cum Laude, from Centenary College of Louisiana. He graduated with an M.D. from the Tulane University School of Medicine and completed his neurology residency at USC/LAC Medical Center in Los Angeles. He is board certified in neurology and sleep medicine and is the medical director of two AASM accredited sleep centers in the DFW area. He has practiced medicine for more than thirty years seeing in that time a wide variety of persons with neurological and sleep disorders. During his years of practice he has come to understand that standard approaches to many neurological disorders are at best incomplete and often ineffective.
He was introduced to the Othmer Method of Neurofeedback in 2013. He is convinced that such electrically based brain therapeutics represents the future of the field because such therapies are effective, safe and offer long term improvement in brain functioning, something that pharmacological treatment generally cannot provide. He has seen Neurofeedback help multiples patients with such diverse conditions as migraine, insomnia, PTSD, chronic pain, ADHD and developmental disorders.
